Sober since 30 March 2022.
Coming up on a year medication-free. Chef. Horticulture. More than 35 years with a rod. The bank held me. The soil is doing the rest. If you are in it, you already know. If you are not, the groups are open.

Be where your feet are.
The past creates a weight. The future creates noise. This moment on the bank is the only one that can hold you.
Survival got me here. It does not get to run the rest.
The version of me that survived is not the same man who gets to live. Healing is not a new personality. It is taking the noise off the old one.
