Be where your feet are.

First light and mist over a still Cornish lake, empty bank in the foreground

Be where your feet are.

Stop leaving the moment to go argue with ghosts. The past has already taken enough. Do not hand it your morning as well.

First light on Cornish water. Mist on the surface. Rods out. Nothing happening that the camera would want. Everything happening that I need.

Sit by the water long enough and the noise starts to fall away. That is not poetry. That is a nervous system finally getting a vote.

Carp angling is the metaphor because it is true. Patience. Timing. Respect for the process. Knowing when to hold and when to let go. Trusting that something real is moving under the surface even when you cannot see it yet.

If you have a photo from the last session on your phone, put it in the group. That is the whole ask. We will meet you there.
